Safe Transaction:


The payment process is supervised by Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB). All payments, including the cost of the trip and visa fees, must be made prior to your arrival in Bhutan. The deposit directly goes into the tour company’s account at either Bank of Bhutan or Bhutan National Bank. This account is linked or registered with the airline and TCB so that they can track the payments and check balance.The bank is allowed to remit the money only to the airlines or TCB to process visa. Funds are released to the tour company after your trip is over. The visa is approved only after the full payment for the trip has been made to Tourism Council of Bhutan.

Payment through Wire Transfer:


All the licensed tour operators have an account with either Bank of Bhutan or Bhutan National Bank which is registered /linked with Tourism Council of Bhutan. Once you confirm the trip, we will send you the details of our international correspondent bank. You must instruct your bank to remit the payment through the correspondent bank to Bhutan National Bank and send us a copy of the remittance slip. Don’t forget to mention Bhutan Rila Expeditions (and its account number) as the Ultimate Beneficiary. Upon receiving the payment we will send you a confirmation via email within 2-3 working days.

For Visitors from India:


Upon receiving your confirmation, we will send you the details of our correspondent bank in India. You’ll have to remit 50% of the total cost to book the tour and the rest of the amount two weeks prior to your visit. Once you make the payment, mail us a copy of the remittance slip.
Alternately, you can pay for the cost of the trip by credit/ debit card through above-mentioned method.
